The 202s make pop music which draws on elements of synth pop, krautrock, dub & ambience. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2009 to positive critical response across Europe. Germany’s Musikexpress described their music as "hymnal Kraut-pop from Dublin" while France's Magic RPM referred to the album as “a mixture of psychedelic sounds, a taste of pop & a funk base”.
